Johann Sebastian Bach

OMG, my bf looks like Bach. seriously, if justin traveled back in time and was a few years older and wore a powdered wig and haughty clothing, he'd look like this. well, at least in this painting of Bach where he was young. i don't really dig the old/forlorn look of Bach in all his other paintings.

i remember that i had a crush on this painting of Bach bach when i still played piano. i had to memorize this sinfonia, so i had to practice sometimes with the book closed. so i got to stare at this portrait, which was on the cover. i'm such a weirdo and justin is so cute.

vegas - bellagio five diamond poker classic

last weekend i went with work to vegas to experience a taping of our tv show, and of course, the wonder of vegas. it was pretty cool cuz there were some pretty famous poker players at the final table (Doyle Brunson and Phil Laak) and i also got to see Gus Hansen when i was walking by the casino floor.

i spent so much money this weekend... on ALCOHOL. i'm such a lush.

and i tried gambling finally. i was bored so i played video blackjack. i put in $5 and after awhile i was up to $27. then i lost all that and another $30. yeah, i played until i had no cash. fuck gambling. this is why i never wanted to gamble cuz i knew this would happen. fuckin lost $35 in vegas.

overall, vegas was pretty intersting. you get to see different sides of the people you work with. there is a reason why they say "what happens in vegas stays in vegas."

one of the most entertaining dates last nite

after work, me and justin went to 3rd street santa monica to get some hooters. usually the girls there are pretty cute, but last nite it was lacking. anyway, i got my wings and beer, so i was happy. afterwards, we walked around 3rd street since we paid a flat rate for the parking already. and we see the guy from the jay leno show interviewing people on the streets!

we were smoking a cig and i wanted to watch, so we just stood by the side to see what was going on. and the guy motioned for us to go over, and finally we did. and he interviewed us for that one section on the show where they interview people on the streets with wierd shit (duh). anyway, so you might see us on leno sometime next week! (i'm not supposed to say what it was about i think.)

anyway, after that, we were walkin more and i wanted to sit down because there was an area of concrete sidewalk that was well lighted and clean and spacious. so we sat down indian style right in the middle of the sidewalk and looked at people walking. we looked like well dressed bums. then afterawhile there was a real bum that sat down with us and started showing us his 9-11 books. he was pretty messed up. it was a fun conversation because we started making up all these stories when the bum asked us questions.

it feels great to finally find someone who will do stupid fun shit with me and not be embarassed!

fight 1

me and justin had our first fight-ish thing last nite. it was over something so stupid, and since i have to see him today, i didn't think it wise to get to the bottom of the issue last nite. but after showing the IM conversation to two of my friends, they both said that he danced around the issue (this was with me ONLY asking "what do you think of the conversation?") oh, the issue is about comment-leaving on myspace. stupid, i know.

but it would make one wonder what makes a person get so defensive all of a sudden. especially i didn't assume anything.

i find some sad sorry solace in the feeling that this won't work out.
